We will hold our St. Stephen's Day parish luncheon on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in our parish hall.
* As we have already announced, our St. Stephen's Day parish had to be postponed from August 17 to the 24th, to enable more people to join us. So next Sunday (Aug. 17) Mass will begin at the usual time of 10:30, and then at 11:00 on the 24th. The time of the luncheon itself will of course remain unchanged at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be ordered from Cecilia Lamperth at 905-639-2403 and Zsofia Szoke at zsizso14@gmail.com. Adult tickets are $40, students $25 and children $10. Tickets can be purchased after Mass at the entrance to the vestibule. Let's come together and celebrate St. Stephen as our first king, our first saint and the namesake of our parish! We appreciate your understanding. We are happy to welcome everyone to this festive event.
On the feast of our King Saint Stephen, the question is not what would have happened without him, but what will happen if we throw this legacy away. May the Church, led by the Holy Spirit, keep all nations together on the way of Christ, because this is the only guarantee for the future of the Hungarian nation.
